  Let your children help in planning the disaster plan.  This interactive website helps children feel involved in their family's disaster plan.  There are various games and planning activities, along with tips for parents and teachers.

  Find a K-8 curriculum, aligned to national education standards supplements lessons teachers are already teaching and provides students with information to help them prepare for disasters and stay safe during and after a disaster in their home, school, or community.

• Facing Fear
  This was developed to help children express their feelings and cope in uncertain times.  It is specifically tailored for lower elementary (K-2), upper elementary (3-5), middle school (6-8) and high school (9-12) classes.  There are twelve lesson plans for each of four age groups. The plans are arranged in three chapters: Feelings, Facts and Perspectives, and Future. The student and family oriented activities engage students in learning and offer families comfort, knowledge and disaster preparedness skills.
